Fuji Oil developed its business around the world from Asia through sales of edible oils from 1970s and then expanded in to processed food products such as chocolate, wide range of bakery and confectionery ingredients in 1990s onwards.

Fuji Oil Asia Pte., Ltd., established in 2012 as the regional headquarters of the Fuji Oil Group for Asia. managing eleven group companies in the South East Asia and Asia Pacific region centralizing the functions of sales, R&D and raw materials procurement etc.

As part of the business expansion, Fuji Oil Asia founded ARC, Asia R&D Center (hereinafter referred to as the “ARC”) in March 2015 in products and application development in Asia. ARC will assist group companies and their customers in R&D activities for contribution to the development of modern Asian food culture through introduction of technical information from Japan and other countries. Also, joint research and development of human resources with universities are undertaken.

Fuji Oil Group has built a vast network of group companies and associates in Asia Pacific such countries as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, India and the United Arab Emirates. With a strong network in the Asian Pacific region, Fuji Oil Asia seek for positive contribution in development of delicious and, at the same time, healthy foods with meeting preference and food culture of Asian Markets.
